Executive Vice-President Finance - Darrell Meachum |
The IFATCA Executive Vice President - Finance is
responsible for all funds of the Federation.
I hope to build upon the successes of former EVP-F, Jimmy
Dale Wright, wherein the Federation established sound
book-keeping programs and strong financial reserves. 
I believe in financial transparency and the obligation of
every EB member to assist the Federation's goals and
objectives on every front; not just an individual board
member's area of jurisdiction. Consequently, I will promote
tactical and strategic planning on matters of import to all
MAs, with a particular focus on issues affecting category 2
and 3 MAs.
I have been an Air Traffic Controller at Fort Worth Air
Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Fort Worth, TX. USA,
since 1982. I have served in several leadership positions
within the National Air Traffic Controller Association
(NATCA) in the USA; the latest being a member of the NATCA
National Executive Board from 1 September, 2003 to
31 August, 2009 as NATCA Regional Vice President, Southwest
Region. I have an extensive background in negotiations,
advocacy, education, and strategic planning. I am a
co-founder and Director of the NATCA Charitable
Foundation. I was rated as a commercial pilot and Certified
Flight Instructor – Instrument, Multi-Engine in 1979.
