International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations

As Secretary I am responsible for assisting and advising the other members of the Board and for recording the proceedings at EB meetings and conferences.

As Conference Executive I am responsible for the coordination with and advising of the organizing Member Association and for the overall management of the business activities at Annual Conferences.

I started as an air traffic controller in the Amsterdam Area Control Center in 1969 and retired in 2001 as Center Supervisor and radar controller.

My first IFATCA Conference was in 1973 and during 5 consecutive years I was one of the Dutch representatives in Committee B. From 1996 until my retirement in 2001, I was the Director of the delegation of the Netherlands Guild and attended the Committee A meetings. During these years I was a member of the then Standing Committee 6 (now CAC). In my home association I have been secretary and vice-chairman during two different time periods.
