Hello all,

IMHO, since the establishment of SES (and the stricter SES2) we have EC regulations, EC directives (eg. 23/2006), Eurocontrol ESARRs, etc, etc, regulating all safety aspects of our (ATCO) licensing, correct?
Et voila', all Euro- controllers have the Common European ATCO License!

Well, it is a no-brainer (TO ME AT LEAST) that the same people (ie. the EU Comission) should regulate (in a broad and just sense) the ATCO's remuneration within the SES area (later FABs areas) by Introducing the ...Common European ATCO Salary..!!!!

In this just and equitable way, there should be no room any more for misunderstandings between ATCO unions and EU member states governments regarding this sensitive and contentious matter, i.e. what exactly is (or should be) a just ATCO remuneration...!!!

PS. perhaps IFATCA-EVP_EUR could make a note of this and introduce a proposal to the EC?
