Tonny Kepler
Tonny Kepler Ssenkubuge is a Senior Air Traffic Controller based at Entebbe International Airport. He began his career in ATC in 2010 and has since obtained four ATC ratings. He has also obtained training in Search and Rescue, Safety Management Systems, CBTA, and ELP train the trainer IFATCA course.
Tonny has been involved in the activities of his local Professional Association, the Uganda Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (UGATCA) as Executive Vice President Professional (EVPP) and later as President from 2019 to 2024 where he pioneered a number of initiatives to strengthen the Association.
Tonny began his involvement in IFATCA work as a corresponding member of the PLC in 2016. He became an elected member of the IFATCA CAC in 2019 to date and has participated in the development of a number of papers produced by CAC at the annual conference. He was also part of the IFATCA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion task force (EDITF) constituted in 2019, and part of the regional support group of the AFM region from 2019 until he was appointed RVP for the Eastern Africa region in 2023.
Tonny holds a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Physics Education, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Aviation. Tonny is married and blessed with three children.
Throughout his career, Nabil has been actively involved in various projects, including procedures design, continuous improvement processes development, the amendment of training manuals, AIP apdate etc.
After a while he became an Instructor and later a Watch Manager at Algiers international airport ,tower and Approach control unit, a position he continues to hold.
Nabil was an active member of the Africa and Middle East Technical and Professional Committee, where he played a significant part in developing several working papers addressing critical issues in the AFM region.
Nabil is also a CBTA workshop instructor assistant since the 2019 AFM regional meeting in TUNIS.
Nabil TOUAZI was appointed as Regional Vice President for North Africa and Middle East at the 34th Africa and Middle East Regional Meeting in Abuja, Nigeria, in 2023.

Nabil Touazi

Nabil Touazi
Nabil TOUAZI began his career in air traffic control, joining the Air Traffic Controller training program in Algeria in 2001. He had obtained his license at Algiers International Airport, in Aerodrome Control and Approach Control, both procedural and radar.
Nabil also holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the École Nationale des Travaux Publics d’Alger.
